Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Thembi Siweya, will host young South African trailblazers in the field of sports, arts, literature and business at the Union Building on 06 May 2021. 

Joining the Deputy Minister on the day is renowned praise poet, Masingita Shibambu, who once ushered President Ramaphosa to Parliament for the State of the Nation Address; Simthandile Tshabalala, the award-winning young golfer; emerging author, Angel Mkhawana and entrepreneur, Cornet Mamabolo.

Whilst using the occasion to celebrate prominent young people, discussions will also include exploring possible collaborations with government. Brand South Africa is co-hosting the occasion in the context of the Play Your Part programme.
