Born and raised in Chiawelo, Soweto in 1996, Matsolo's artistic inclination blossomed at a tender age. Even as a child, he displayed a natural talent for drawing and creating original cartoon characters.

 His inspiration grew when he encountered the political cartoon series by renowned artists Zapiro and Sizwe in a daily newspaper during his fourth-grade years. This exposure fueled Matsolo's creativity and propelled him to explore various artistic mediums.

Exploration and Evolution: From Painting to Performance

As Matsolo progressed through his education, his artistic journey took him from drawing to painting and eventually to performance art. Attending Jabulani Technical High School opened new doors for him, allowing him to showcase his work at the Soweto Theater's art and crafts events. This experience immersed him in the world of the arts and solidified his passion for creative expression.

Throughout his career, Matsolo delved into different facets of visual arts, initially finding his niche in branding and advertising as a graphic designer and art director. His exploration led him to discover his talent for Engineering Graphics and Design (EGD), which he self-taught, honing his skills in designing vectors and illustrations. In 2016, he established his digital agency, Alpha Digitals, where he creates logos, posters, and branding for local individuals and businesses.
