Orlando Pirates' latest signing Sephelo Baloni wants to use the pre-season tour in Spain as a platform to improve his game ahead of the 2023/24 football season.

Pirates are currently in Spain until the 21st of July 2023 for their second part of the pre-season camp and they will face Maccabi Tel Aviv on the 13th of July, Independiente del Valle on the 15th of July and UD Las Palmas on the 19th of July.

With Baloni joining the Buccaneers from All Stars FC, the midfield maestro has reiterated that he believes he joined the Sea Robbers at the right time.

"Firstly I am very pleased with how the team has welcomed me, it has been an honour to be part of such an amazing group of players and the coaches have been supportive and giving us some tactics to learn more and to improve as a team and individually as players too.

Going forward, I hope I will improve a lot because I still need to improve as a player as there are some things I need to tick and work on, so I can say I am happy to be here and to also be on this tour in Spain," Baloni said.

The former All Stars FC player was joined by Katlego Otladisa, Melusi Buthelezi and Patrick Maswanganyi as the latest recruits to join the club.
