With millions of users Vodacom has once again found itself in hot water on the social media streets as users complained about poor network connectivity for the second time in eleven days. Customers voiced out concerns of poor network affecting their virtual meetings and their overall daily productivity.
According to Business Tech an analysis by the service monitoring platform Downdetector shows that reports about Vodacom downtime spiked from just after 14:00 on Monday. Most reports about Vodacom's outages came from the country's biggest cities, a Downdetector map shows:
Vodacom has issued a statement online saying they are aware of an issue impacting connectivity to some of its customers and their technicians are working hard to resolve the issue.
