#Zondo Commission
Former South African Airways chair Dudu Myeni has found herself in hot water for mentioning the name of a person she assumes to be Mr X, who had testified before the Zondo Commission.
Myeni appeared before Deputy Chief Justice Raymond Zondo again on Thursday afernoon where she resumed with her testimony which was via video link due to her being in self-isolation this is after she was exposed to Covid-19. On Wednesday she left Zondo without any progress when she refused to answer any of his questions, stating that she does not want incriminate herself.

This week Americans saw thier long anticipated day of election. The spotlight was on the race for the White House between President Donald Trump, who is seeking a second term, and Democrat Joe Biden. The two candidates have dominated headlines and social media trends. According to AL Jezeera Early voting surged to levels never before seen in US elections – 98.7 million early votes have been cast either in person or by mail.

Like the Americans Democratic Alliance members finally saw the dawning of the day they have been anticipating. After a neck on neck contest the DA finally appointed a new leader . According to a statement released by the party elections for DA Leadership Candidates took place using the online OpaVote platform and this system worked well. The election results were compliant with all DA election requirements and rules. They were signed off by us, as presiding officers, as well as the candidates’ party agents and also a professional audit firm who acted as independent external auditors and who oversaw the voting process.
