Bushiri and wife have been granted bail

Shepered Bushiri a notorius prophet has been granted bail in the Pretoria Magistrate’s Court on Wednesday morning. The accused together with four other suspects were arrested by the hawks for theft, fraud and money laundering in October. 

Bushiri, his wife Mary, Landiwe Ntlokwana, and Zethu  Mudolo, went to court on Wednesday morning to hear the magistrates decision regarding their bail applications.  

 Bushiri and his wife’s bail has been fixed at R200,000 each. 
 Ntlokwana was granted bail of R100,000 
 Zethu Mudolo was granted bail of R20,000. 

The presiding Magistrate Thandi Thelede granted four of the five accused bail, and warned  them not to interfere with the State’s case or to contact witnesses.  As part of the bail condition Bushiri and his wife have to hand in their title deed for their property in Centurion as a guarantee
