Music Feature : Syper is unearthed with his latest single Lalela.

 Singer, songwriter, rapper, producer and jack of all traits Syper has blessed us with a brand new single titled ‘Lalela’
The track with its catchy and groovy chorus its sure to be an end of the year banger. It’s the perfect song to get the lockdown funk out of Mzanti’s system.

Syper who hails all the way from Kempton Park is a genius lyricist and he takes us on an interesting journey in this track. The track takes a look at the ups and downs of a romantic relationship in a quirky and easily relatable way. In this song which is a fusion of Afro rap, Afro soul and a nice blend of urban contemporary, Syper delivers a storyline where a girl is about to meet her in laws, in this banger Syper asks his girl to look presentable and make a good first impression.

Syper started out as a school choir member but at the time he saw that as a hobby not a career. His wake-up call was when he met Witbank based producer and sound engineer Sunday Mhlanga who approached him after hearing his freestyle and invited him to the studio, From that day he started recording demo songs and his passion for the culture grew. He watched Sunday produce and developed the love for music production too, little did he know that it would be one of the skills he’s well known for.




Syper learnt a lot about producing music from the person who introduced him to his talent Sunday Mhlanga. He watched Sunday produce and he then developed the love for music. You can really feel Syper’s passion for music in this track with his incredible ability to combine different sounds and genres to form his signature sound. The production of this track is beyond genius, with a feel of a little bit of this and that its sure to be a track that caters to everyone’s taste.


This is not the first of Syper’s works he has released three projects thus far. Two EP’s and one mixtape. They all did well with physical sales and received good reviews and feedback online.
