Orlando Pirates have announced that Vincent Pule has signed a new contract extension with the club, penning a deal that will see the 31-year-old remain at the club until 2025 with an option to extend it for another year.

The Buccaneers released a statement confirming that Pule alongside Richard Ofori, Thabang Monare, Siyabonga Mpontshane and Ben Motshwari have signed contract extensions ahead of the new season.

"Pule, who has made 135 appearances for the Buccaneers, netting 31 goals and 11 assists, is currently in Rustenburg with the rest of the squad as they prepare for the start of the 2023/24 campaign.

His 2022/23 season was plagued by injury, limiting him to only 19 appearances and netting only two goals in the process," the statement read.

Pirates also confirmed the termination of Collins Makgaka, who joined the club from Baroka FC in 2020, but only managed to make 24 appearances for the Buccaneers over three campaigns.
