South African designer Thebe Magugu is making waves in the international fashion scene with his inclusion in the groundbreaking exhibition, Vogue x Snapchat: Redefining the Body.

The exhibition, curated by Edward Enninful OBE, explores how augmented reality can transform the world of physical fashion through innovative digital experiences, available on the popular social media platform, Snapchat.

Magugu's inclusion in the exhibition is a proud moment for South African fashion. Magugu's exhibition at Vogue x Snapchat: Redefining the Body features his new "Mother & Child'' Heritage Dress capsule collection, set to launch in April 2023 with the official international relaunch of his website, www.thebemagugu.com. 

The collection is a celebration of South African culture, featuring nine colourful figurative silhouettes inspired by traditional dresses from different regions of South Africa, including the Xhosa Dress, Zulu Dress, Pedi Dress, Vhavenda Dress, Tswana Dress, Tonga Dress, Basotho Dress, Swati Dress, and the newly-minted Ndebele Dress.
