Terrence Dzvukamanja provides an update on his future at Pirates

Orlando Pirates forward Terrence Dzvukamanja has revealed he is not as yet sure on whether he will still be with the Buccaneers next season or not.

This follows Dzvukamanja' contract with Pirates set to expire at the end of the current season after the 29 year old joined the Buccaneers in 2020.

The Zimbabwean international who has been exceptional under Jose Riveiro in the second half of the season has scored six goals in his last eight appearances in the black and white colours of Orlando Pirates.

Despite the great run of form Dzvukamanja has shown lately, the former Bidvest Wits player insists he is not entirely sure about his future at Pirates.

"Currently I am not sure on whether I will be staying at Pirates or not, I am just waiting for my agent to tell me what is happening.

So for me as a player, I am still here so I can say if we win, we will go and play the CAF Champions League, I honestly want to play in the Champions League because it's a big thing," Dzvukamanja said.

During his current tenure at Pirates, Dzvukamanja has won two MTN 8 titles with the club while also playing a crucial role in Pirates' journey in the 2022/23 Nedbank Cup campaign.

With the Buccaneers still in contention for the CAF Champions League spot, Dzvukamanja will hope to continue with his fine form to help Pirates get the better of Sekhukhune United and AmaZulu in their last two DStv Premiership matches on the 13th and 20th of May respectively.

"We want to play in the CAF Champions League that is why we are pushing so hard as a team to win all our remaining games, our goal is to finish second on the log this season," Dzvukamanja added.

Immediately after the conclusion of the league, Dzvukamanja and co. will turn their attention to the Nedbank Cup final against Sekhukhune United on the 27th of May at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria.
