Former Orlando Pirates player Terrence Dzvukamamja has reunited with Gavin Hunt at SuperSport United.

Hunt was Dzvukamamja’s head coach at Bidvest Wits before he joined Pirates in 2020 and made 76 appearances for the Buccaneers, scoring 16 goals.

Eight of those goals came last season, when he made the number 9 spot his own in the second half of the campaign and also scored the winner in the Nedbank Cup final against Sekhukhune United.

Upon signing for Matsatsantsa a Pitori, Pirates released a statement on Monday the 17th of July 2023 stating that Dzvukamanja had asked the club to be released “to play in Zimbabwe to be close to home in order to address pressing family matters”.

However, in Pirates’ version of events SuperSport then approached the player to the surprise of the Buccaneers, who then opted to release Dzvukamanja to SuperSport.

The Zimbabwean international has vowed to continue with his impressive form and score goals in the blue and white colours of SuperSport United.
