Social Media Users Rally Crowds Using #EndSARS

Protests erupted in Nigeria earlier this month against #EndSars a decentralized social movement against police brutality in Nigeria  to date the protests are seen perpetuating and such they haves caught eyes globally. Social media users have lobbied  crowds in the country  and across the globe. The #EndSars has been retweeted more than twenty Eight million times. 

Nigerian forces have allegedly opened fire on protesters in Lagos after 12 days of demonstrations against police brutality. 
Tweeter users have also shared disturbing graphical images of injured protesters and have reported on protest related deaths.

In a Tweet the United States Presidential candidate has also condemned the brutal killing of the Nigerian Protestors. She said 
“I’m calling on President Muhammadu Buhari and the Nigerian Army to stop killing young #EndSARS protesters. #StopNigeriaGovernment,” 

Other Global Media personalities have joined in solidarity with the Nigerian citizens to condemn state-sanctioned violence. The celebrities include Wizkid, Kanye West, Burna Boy and more.
