Chairperson of the Kaizer Chiefs Polokwane and Seshego Region Supporters Club Nathi Modiba is one of the many Kaizer Chiefs supporters looking forward to the return of Amakhosi to Polokwane.

The Glamour Boys return to their second home in Polokwane for their first home games in eight years when they tackle Royal AM on Sunday the 29th of January and Modiba cannot wait.

Modiba fell in love with the club when he started following the all-conquering Kaizer Chiefs team of 1984, when commentators like Radio Lebowa’s Jimmy Lesiba Mohlaloga used to transport Amakhosi fans to the stadium with vivid commentary on the wireless.

The 47 year old states that his heart is Gold and Black and he is willing to do anything for Kaizer Chiefs, "This club is truly about Love and Peace because even as supporters we celebrate each other at the Stadium and feel the love of being part of the Amakhosi family," said Modiba

As the region is gearing up to support the Kaizer Chiefs roadshow at Seshego Circle on Saturday, Modiba also mentions that they have been working everyday to ensure that people also come out in numbers to the Peter Mokaba Stadium so that the team feels at home.

The last time Chiefs won the PSL title it was in Polokwane and Modiba is confident that will motivate the team to do well in their respective fixtures at the Peter Mokaba Stadium.

"Growing up in a family that worshipped Kaizer Chiefs, my mother, father and older brother all loved the club. I am even more Grateful to have a life partner that also loves Kaizer Chiefs because it makes the work become so easy," Modiba added.

Modiba who is also a fashion designer says that it is his wish and intention that on match day all supporters' branches will meet at the Polokwane Municipality and make their way to the stadium in unison, making their voices and their hearts heard with their love for Amakhosi.

Modiba also describes his love for the Glamour Boys as one that keeps on growing over the years and it has become an all-consuming passion, "The likes of Marks Maponyane, Teenage Dladla and Doctor Khumalo have also contributed immensely in my love for the club."

In a game of football one of the most important player is the 12th man being the supporters and the Limpopo crowd has proven over the years that in good and bad times, they will always play their part as the 12th player for Amakhosi.

After the Royal AM clash Amakhosi will be back in Polokwane on 19 February to host Golden Arrows and will face Soweto rivals Swallows on 2 May.
