Orlando Pirates will look to continue where they left off on Friday evening when they host Cape Town City in the DStv Premiership on Tuesday night at Orlando Stadium.

Fresh from defeating Djabal Club 3-0 in the CAF Champions League preliminary round on Friday evening, Pirates head to the encounter against Eric Tinkler's men oozing with confidence after being unbeaten in their last five matches in all competitions.

While the games are coming in thick and fast for the Buccaneers across all competitions, head coach Jose Riveiro has welcomed the busy and hectic schedule with ease alluding that the team is ready to compete with determination and the desire to win every match.

"We are playing in five different tournaments and there is no time to sleep if we are to do well in all of them, we played on Friday in the CAF Champions League, now we have a midweek fixture then it's the MTN8 over the weekend and our aim is to win all those three games.

How do you win if you are sleeping? We know it’s tough but we have a team and players who are capable of doing the job on the field of play," Riveiro said.

As for City, they are looking to bounce back from three successive defeats: 2-1 loss against Kaizer Chiefs in the MTN8 and back-to-back 1-0 reverses at the hands of SuperSport United and Sekhukhune United in the league.

The last time the two sides met Pirates won the clash 2-1 at Orlando Stadium courtesy of goals by Terrence Dzvukamanja and Monnapule Saleng while Khanyisa Mayo scored City's consolation goal.

Kick-off on Tuesday night is 19:30.
