Olisa Ndah set to stay at Orlando Pirates

By Neo Poho

Orlando Pirates defender Olisa Ndah's agent Mike Makaab has confirmed that Ndah will be staying at the club despite the defender's lengthy lay-off during the just ended 2022/23 DStv Premiership season.

Ndah's absence from the team last season was mainly due to an injury setback that saw him feature only once for Pirates in the second half of the season.

While there were many suggestions and speculations around Ndah's future at Pirates, Makaab has broken the silence and confirmed that the Nigerian international will be in the black and white colours of the Buccaneers again next season.

"Ndah is definitely staying," Makaab said on Twitter when he was asked about the 25-year-old's future.

With the likes of Sandile Mthethwa, Thabiso Monyane, Tapelo Xoki and Nkosinathi Sibisi all rising to the occasion in making sure that Pirates' defence is intact, Ndah is facing a very tough competition in a bid to regain his starting XI position again.

The Nigerian international who helped Pirates clinch the MTN 8 last year will be hoping to be ready for pre-season as he is gearing himself up for the new 2023/24 DStv Premiership season.
