The Nedbank Cup last 16 tie between Dondol Stars and AmaZulu which was scheduled to play at the Tshwane University of Technology Stadium on Wednesday night has been moved to the FNB Stadium due to the ongoing strike happening at the University.

The PSL confirmed the rescheduling of the venue through a statement that read, "The Premier Soccer League has announced that the Nedbank Cup round of 16 fixture between Dondol Stars and Amazulu FC which was originally scheduled to be played at TUT Stadium will now take place at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday night."

Due to the student protest action at the Tshwane University of Technology campus which began earlier this week, the PSL has also advised that spectators who had already purchased tickets for TUT Stadium will be able to use the same ticket at the FNB Stadium.

Dondol Stars progressed to the last 16 after they caused the biggest upset in the current campaign of the Nedbank Cup by defeating SuperSport United 2-1 in the last 32 a month ago at the Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium.

Meanwhile Amazulu had to dig deep at the King Zwelithini Stadium last month to defeat Tornado FC 3-2 and advance to the last 16.

With Dondol Stars already a threat after eliminating SuperSport, Amazulu midfielder George Maluleka is wary of the ABC Motsepe League side, Maluleka has urged Amazulu to take the match seriously and not treat it with a 'David vs Goliath' approach.

"Dondol Stars are not going to be an easy opponent, we have seen a couple of their clips especially in the game against SuperSport United, despite the threat, I think if we can apply ourselves and approach the game without undermining our opponent we should be able to go through to the next round," Maluleka said.

AmaZulu will be high on confidence coming from a resounding 2-0 win over Chippa United in the DStv Premiership last weekend.

"There are a lot of things to consider but also being wary of them being a smaller team and having nothing to lose, that will obviously allow them to be more expensive which could put us under pressure but we need to apply ourselves and give our all," Maluleka added.

Kick-off at the FNB Stadium is set to be at 19:30.
