Former Mamelodi Sundowns midfielder Lesedi Kapinga has joined Orlando Pirates on a three-year deal.
Kapinga joins Pirates on a free transfer after parting ways with Mamelodi Sundowns where he spent three seasons.
Upon his arrival at the Soweto Giants, Kapinga expressed his excitement at joining the Sea Robbers, citing that he is not much of a talker because talk is cheap.
“I am pleased to join the club, I am not much of a talker because talk is cheap so all I am focused on is to start training and working my way back to playing the game I love," Kapinga added.
Known for his flair, and creativity, Kapinga who formerly played for Black Leopards and Mamelodi Sundowns has 91 official matches under his belt, including 11 goals and 15 assists.
He will link up with his new team-mates this week and has been allocated the number 21.
He was also part of the South Africa national team squad that finished third at the 2023 Cosafa Cup this month (July).
