The brand's founder, Mpumelelo Dhlamini, who graduated with a BA Degree in Fashion at The Villioti Fashion Institute, has always sought to create a clothing brand that tells African stories using fabric as a medium.

The brand's latest collection, titled Inganekwane: inqina le nkukhu, continues to reflect this value proposition.

The collection explores the chicken foot, a South African street food delicacy known as 'maotwana,' 'runaways,' or 'walkie-talkies,' and incorporates it in some of its prints.

The brand commissioned a South African visual artist, Alexandre Vosloo, to illustrate inqina le nkukhu or the chicken foot, with red nail polish, adding a strong feminine energy to the collection.

The collection explores different textures and weights of fabrics and silhouettes, introducing some new signature silhouettes while maintaining some existing ones.

The brand's value proposition is to find new ways of giving women clothing that makes a statement without compromising on comfort and quality.

Ezokhetho aims to be a socially responsible brand that is environmentally conscious and strives to contribute towards establishing an industry that is empowered and fair. The brand produces high-quality garments that are true to who they are, produced responsibly at every level from concept to production.
