Kaizer Chiefs defender Sifiso Hlanti looks set to extend his contract at Kaizer Chiefs when it expires at the end of the season.

The well seasoned defender has fairly done well in the colours of black and gold ever since he joined Chiefs from Swallows FC in 2021.

Hlanti who has been a regular full back for Amakhosi in the DSTV Premiership so far has been considered as part of coach Arthur Zwane's rebuilding phase and it is also believed that his experience will be very beneficial to the young and coming talent especially since the club is filled with a lot of youngsters.

The technical team at Naturena is also fond of Hlanti because of the discipline he brings into the team, Hlanti is also deemed to be a  well behaved player at the camp and resonates with everyone that is why he is liked by majority of the people at Naturena.

With some of the older players expected to leave when their contracts expires at the end of the season, it is without a doubt that coach Arthur Zwane still needs a bit of experience here and there to strengthen the squad hence the possibility of retaining Hlanti.
