Drawing from Nando’s iconic PERi-PERi hot sauce, this limited-edition sneaker is a tribute to South African culture just in time for Heritage Day.

The RS-Xtra Hot sneaker, priced at R1,999, is not just footwear—it's a vibrant celebration of South African culture and heritage. 

Brett Bellinger, PUMA SA Marketing Director, perfectly encapsulates the essence of this collaboration, highlighting the bold and fiery nature of South Africans that's mirrored in the design. 

The shoe pays homage to Nando’s legendary sauce through intricate details like the printed chilli formstrip, a PERi-ometer showcasing heat levels, and a heel cup reflecting the colours of Nando’s sauces. 

The design is rounded off with the PUMA logo, fired up in the iconic Nando’s font, and the signature Barci Cockerel—an embodiment of Nando’s heritage.

The RS-Xtra Hot sneaker drops on Heritage Day, September 24, 2023. It will be available for purchase online and in-store at various retail locations including PUMA Retail stores, sportscene, Side Step, Shesha, Superbalist, The Cross Trainer, Shelflife, Sneaker District, and Colt45 by Al Capone. 

This spicy collaboration will extend beyond South African borders in limited quantities to the US and UAE.
