Empowering women's achievements: AFI's High Tea and 2024 Golf Day launch

Africa Fashion International's Power To Empower High Tea celebrated women's achievements with an engaging Fireside Chat between Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe and Coach Desiree Ellis, along with the exciting announcement of the Power To Empower Annual Women's Golf Day.

In a dynamic celebration of women's accomplishments, Africa Fashion International (AFI) hosted the Power To Empower High Tea event, radiating empowerment and championing success.

Set against the elegant backdrop of the Houghton Golf Club, this event united influential women from diverse fields who have paved the way for others to thrive. 

At the heart of the occasion was an engaging 'The Art of Winning' Fireside Chat. AFI's visionary Founder and Executive Chair, Dr. Precious Moloi-Motsepe, engaged in a thought-provoking dialogue with Desiree Ellis, the remarkable coach of Banyana Banyana.

The insights shared ranged from leadership strategies on the field to key decisions in the boardroom. Coach Ellis eloquently emphasised the need for corporate leaders to invest in women's sports for its growth and development, extending an impactful call to action.

Amidst the gathering's excitement, a significant announcement stirred anticipation. Dr Precious Moloi-Motsepe revealed plans for the Power To Empower Annual Women's Golf Day, a transformative initiative scheduled to commence in August 2024.

This innovative endeavor will not only encourage women's participation in golf but also support breast cancer awareness campaigns through collaboration with the CANSA association. 

A portion of the proceeds from the Women's Golf Day will be devoted to these noble causes, underscoring AFI's unwavering commitment to making positive societal contributions.
