Dzvukamanja adviced to stay at Pirates

Orlando Pirates forward Terrence Dzvukamanja has been adviced to stay at the club by former Kaizer Chiefs midfielder Kelvin Mushangazhike.

Dzvukamanja had an outstanding second half season for the Buccaneers scoring 7 goals in 14 matches to help the side finish the DStv Premiership season on the second spot.

The Zimbabwean international's influence was also very pivotal in the Nedbank Cup as he also led the Sea Robbers to the Nedbank Cup glory after scoring the winning goal against Sekhukhune United in the final at Loftus Versfeld Stadium.

While Dzvukamanja's agent Mike Makaab has confirmed that he will be in talks with the Pirates chairman concerning Dzvukamanja's contract, Mushangazhike has revealed that Dzvukamanja should stay with the Nedbank Cup champions.

"Terrence is a talented player and considering the character he showed, it's obvious several clubs will hope to sign him knowing his contract situation.

But I think it's a bad idea for him to move because that will disrupt his rhythm, considering what he faced last season, what if adaptation takes longer at a new club? He should stay at Pirates and I am sure he will deliver more next season," Mushangazhike said.

The former Amakhosi midfielder furthermore stated that Dzvukamanja deserves to play for Pirates after the great comeback he displayed.

"I am so happy for him because he went through a difficult time during the season, he was struggling and suffering a lot and sometimes people didn't  understand but he deserves to play for Pirates because he is a fantastic player," Mushangazhike added.

Meanwhile, Dzvukamanja has also expressed his desire to continue playing for Pirates stating that he has no intentions to leave the club.
