Sekhukhune United head coach Brandon Truter has revealed what he believes has changed in the Orlando Pirates squad this season.

The Soweto giants displayed a great performance on Saturday at the Orlando Stadium, thrashing Babina Noko 5-0 in the MTN8 quarter-final to advance to the semi-finals, where they will face Stellenbosch FC.

Zakhele Lepasa stole the show, scoring a hat-trick, whilst Ndabayithethwa Ndlondlo and Monnapule Saleng were also on the scoresheet leaving Truter with no choice but to reveal what he believes the Sea Robbers have changed this season.

"The mentality has changed, you can see the quality, you can see the understanding and the growth in the team that it is different from last season.

There is a certain belief from Pirates this season and that's what has set them apart, they now head into encounters with the willingness to play and play to win," Truter said.

The Sea Robbers who are facing Chippa United on Tuesday evening in the DStv Premiership will look to continue with their winning streak after also recording a 4-2 victory in their last league encounter against Royal AM last week Tuesday.
