The conclusion of the FIFA international break on Tuesday cues in the return of domestic football with the DSTV Premiership being on the horizon in the first weekend of April.

Soweto giants Kaizer Chiefs are in action in what is expected to be a blockbuster of an encounter when they welcome Stellenbosch FC at the FNB Stadium on Saturday night.

The encounter is the third meeting of the season between the two sides who have met before in the MTN8 at the Danie Craven stadium when Chiefs won 4-3 on penalties, the second encounter was a league fixture at the Cape Town Stadium and Amakhosi were once again victorious on the day easing past Steve Barker's side 3-1.

With the closure of the international break Amakhosi will welcome back Samkelo Zwane, Mduduzi Shabalala, Caleb Bimenyimana and Edmilson Dove who were all called up for international duty respectively.

Siyabonga Ngezana also returns to the squad after missing out on Chiefs' last match due to suspension however, Arthur Zwane will have to do without the ever consistent Yusuf Maart against the Stellies.

Maart picked up his fourth booking of the season during Chiefs' 3-2 victory against Maritzburg United on the 18th of March.

The 27 year old has been a regular for Zwane's side making 22 appearances for Amakhosi so far and also scoring two goals in the process.

Maart's second goal of the season proved to be the difference in Amakhosi's hard fought 3-2 victory against Maritzburg United.

The absence of Maart will see Siyethemba Sithebe get the opportunity to lead in the middle of the park with the likes of Zwane and George Matlou also expected to feature.

A victory for the Soweto giants will see them sit second on the log with 40 points if Orlando Pirates and SuperSport United drop points in their respective encounters on Saturday as well.
