The City of Joburg Group Finance Department will host yet another virtual Open Day to help customers with their queries on Saturday, 01 October 2022.

After the success launch of this new virtual platform in August, which saw more than 400 customers getting assistance with their billing queries, the second instalment of the virtual engagement is once again coming to customers.

Group Finance Spokesperson, Kgamanyane Maphologela, says the customers have given the new virtual platform a thumbs up. This is another smart service addition as part of the City’s Smart City priority.

“Customers will literally be able to bring their various queries online, engage with our service experts virtually, get feedback and have their resolutions given without having to leave the comfort of their homes,” says Maphologela.

The City’s customers will be able to connect online anywhere, to access the different services without having to queue and be in traffic.

The virtual Open Day will be hosted on Microsoft Teams platform, giving customers the options to click on the link relevant to the department they want to engage with. On the day there will be experts from Credit Management, Property Branch which deals with rates, taxes and valuation, City Power, Customer Service: Front Office Service, Debt Rehabilitation, Joburg Water, e-Joburg and Billing Back Office amongst other services.
