Zuma's Corruption Trial Resumes.

On Monday the Former president, Jacob Zuma's will appear in the Pietermaritzburg High Court for the Arm's deal trial. The Public Works Minister Patricia de Lille is expected to be the first witness since she is the original whistleblower. 

Part of the corruption charges against Zuma include upgrades made at his Nkandla homestead in March 2001 which were allegedly paid for by his former financial adviser, Schabir Shaik, as part of a bribe. He is also charged along with Thales, a French company, Which according to IOL sought arms deal bids while Zuma was MEC for Economic Affairs in the KwaZulu-Natal legislature and later deputy president of the country.

The Former President' s Daughter has cleared the confusion on who will legally represent her father following him being dropped by his legal representation. In a tweet, she said Zuma will be represented by Advocate Thabani Masuku.
