Another audio recording from the African National Congress's (ANC) NEC meeting has been leaked, speaking to the SABC  ANC veteran Mavuso Msimang says some senior party members who have been charged with serious crimes, including corruption, are the ones who are leaking what is being discussed in the party’s meetings to the media.

 The ANC has been engulfed with factional battles which now seem to be getting out of hand. The purpose of the NEC meeting that sat the past weekend was to discuss the next steps regarding the controversial step aside rule. Suspended Secretary-General Ace Magashule and ANC MP Bongani Bongo were removed from the virtual meeting on Saturday 

Msimang said these actions are those of a dying horse 

“All this noise, all the leaks, and all these things that are happening now are actions of a people who are feeling that the pressure is on them now. They will go to jail and they are trying to cause disturbances. What I like about the ANC is that it has taken firm action which it hasn’t done in the past,” said Msimang.
