Friday Motivation: Do What You Can, Where You Are, With What You Have.

By Phumzile Mavimbela

Our motivation for today comes from Theodore Roosevelt  who once said “Do what you can, where you are, with what you have.”

As people we are not exempted from pressure, we grow weary, get overwhelmed, shocked by the constant changing seasons in our lives, which on its own is sufficient to paralyze our state of mind and hinder us from colourful thoughts as well as productivity. However, if you can break down the agendas of life into the tiniest parts you will begin to see where you can be more effective.

When you do what you can, where you are, with what you have, you will enjoy even the smallest moments in life. There's only one you, and you can only do so much. You are effective in your best not in your worst. Equally so you can never water others from an empty well.

So be intentional in how you approach every day. The wise plan their days and the foolish stumble upon their days.
