Benni McCarthy is  ff to a great  start as the new coach of Amazulu football club.  The former Bafana Bafana player brought home his first winning  to the table following his appointment as Usuthu's coach just a couple of days ago.

Usuthu played against the  Eastern Cape's Chippa United at Kings Park stadium on Sunday afternoon. The match However was not a walk in the park for Amazulu as they had to quickly recover from an early goal by Isaac Nhlapho in the first 14 minutes.

As they say there is surely beauty in resilience this statement was proven true as Usuthu fought to turn the odds in  their favour  with an equaliser from Augustine Mulenga. Usuthu was far from being done as Luvuyo Memela‚ stormed through goalkeeper Ayanda Mtshali  courts setting up the team 2-1 lead.

McCarthy’s boys clearly wanted to take it all home as they closed the match with another goal in the 55th minute leaving the final score as 3-1. This was Amazulus first win in give matches.
