Weekend Round UP: MTN 8 Second Leg Semi Final

Orlando Pirates has sent kaizer Chiefs packing their bags in the MTN 8 Championship on Sunday with a whopping 2-0.Their win has booked them a spot in the MTN 8 finals where they will be going head to head with Bloemfontein Celtic. The FNB Stadium and Orlando stadium pitches seem to have been in favor of the buccaneers.
Pirates won the first leg 3-0 at Orlando Stadium, through goals from Zakhele Lepasa, Vincent Pule and Thembinkosi Lorch.
In the few minutes into the game Amakhosi seemed to have applied the necessary pressure on the Bucs but the odds were not on their side when Reeve Frosler thier influential right- back sustained an injury just 23 minutes into the game, he was replaced by Siphelele Ntshangase. Goals from Fortune Makaringe and Linda Mntambo saw Pirates parade into victory
Bloemfontein Celtic advanced to the MTN8 final after defeating holders SuperSport United with a 1-0 victory in the second leg of the semi-final. They are set to face Pirates in the Final on December 12 after winning the Semi-Final tie 5-0 on aggregate.
