Your makeup inspiration?
I get my makeup inspiration from a lot of other artists, makeup sites and pages on social media, I’m always searching for tricks and tips and trying out various looks.

What are the 2019 makeup trends?
2019 makeup trends? I must say, no makeup looks are the in thing but light hair streak brows, foundations with skin like finish, dewy, light makeup and how can I forget lashes darling!

How do you prep skin for makeup application?
As a qualified Beauty Therapist, skin plays a very important role, especially when it comes to applying makeup. Before applying makeup, I make use of serums, good primers serving as a base to protect the skin and most importantly for me, sunscreen! Especially if your foundation doesn’t contain SPF! I also like to recommend using facial masks so that when you apply makeup, you apply on fresh, clean and healthy skin.

Make-Up Sets

Your go-to make-up foundation, why?
As a makeup artist, I like to make use of a wide range of foundations. Simply because our skin types are not the same and also because certain foundations cater to certain skin types. There’s Mattifying foundations, creamy, the works. For me, my go-to foundation has to be Kryolan and the Este Lauder foundations. Both foundations are amazing on the skin, easy to apply and work with and the coverage is great also they don’t oxidize.

Best skin remedies, for dry and/or oily skin?

When it comes to dry skin, I recommend the Rose Water and Glycerine from Dischem, you can use it as a toner or moisturizer, it’s light on the skin and doesn’t contain alcohol which leads to dry skin. I personally use it as a toner and I must say it’s the best! For oily skin I recommend (goes for anyone really ), always Cleanse, Tone and Moisturize your face, use an Astringent every day, exfoliate once a week as well as a mask. Always keep your skin cleansed and fresh to avoid clogging.
