Sadio Mane Transfer Talk Makes Front Page News In Spain To Worry Liverpool Fans

By Joburg Post

Monday's edition of Spanish sports daily Marca are reporting Real Madrid's interest in Sadio Mane on their front page.

The Spanish giants' interest in the Senegalese attacker appears to have ramped up since the return of Zinedine Zidane to the Bernabeu dugout.

The Frenchman replaced the sacked Santiago Solari earlier this month and is known to be a huge fan of Mane.

The Liverpool star is currently on his best run of goal scoring form since joining the Reds from Southampton in 2016.

He's netted 11 goals in his last 11 games, including the opener against Fulham just before the international break as the Reds returned to the top of the Premier League.

Mane played for Senegal in their 2-0 Africa Nations Cup qualifier victory over Madagascar on Saturday, and for his part hasn't agitated for a move away from Liverpool, for whom he signed a new contract last year.

But Marca's cover - which shows a smiling Zidane comforting Mane after the 2018 Champions League final, in which Mane scored Liverpool's consolation in a 3-1 defeat to Real - indicates that the Frenchman is ready to make a move for the forward.

Liverpool will be confident that they will be able to stave off Real's interest though, given Mane's happiness at the club, his new contract and the strides forward that they are making under Jurgen Klopp.
