Manchester United star Paul Pogba appeared to take a cheeky dig at international team-mate Kylian Mbappe as they met up on France duty this week.

Pogba's Red Devils stunned Paris Saint-Germain in the Champions League two weeks ago to end Mbappe's dreams of lifting the iconic trophy this season.

Although Pogba was suspended for the second leg, he was in the heart of the wild celebrations in the French capital that will live long in the memory.

And it seems he couldn't resist reminding Mbappe of what happened at the Parc des Princes as they met up for the first time since.

 A video posted by the France Football Federation showed the players arriving at their camp ahead of games against Moldova and Iceland.

Pogba gave a cheeky shrug of the shoulders to the camera as Mbappe approached which fans clearly believed was a reference to their Champions League encounter.

One joked that Pogba was telling Mbappe that "Ole is at the wheel", whilst another stated "poor lad's only just managed to climb out of Smalling's pocket and he's greeted with this".

Another noticed that Mbappe didn't look totally pleased, saying "Look at Mbappe's face, he's smiling but deep down he legit wants to two foot tackle Pogba".

The cheeky gesture came before the pair trained together ahead of their European qualifying campaign getting underway in Moldova on Friday.

The World Cup winners will then host Iceland on Monday before the pair return to Manchester United and PSG respectively for the closing stages of the season.
